Setup with Groq
Surgio uses the ultra-fast Groq API to power its intelligence features. This runs on your own API key for maximum privacy and control.
Integration Steps
- Get a Groq API Key: Visit console.groq.com and sign up for a free account. Create a new API key from the dashboard.
- Add to Surgio: Navigate to Settings → AI Configuration in your Surgio workspace.
- Paste Your Key: Enter your Groq API key in the provided field and click Save.
- Start Using AI: All AI features will instantly activate across the platform.
Groq delivers the fastest inference speeds in the industry, making AI interactions feel instant. Your API key stays with you, ensuring your data never leaves your control.
Your Groq API key is stored locally in your browser's storage for maximum security and privacy. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. This ensures complete control over your API credentials and usage.
Important: Clearing your browser data (cookies, cache, or site data) will remove your stored API key. You will need to re-enter it in the AI Configuration settings to continue using Surgio AI features.

Click the AI icon in the header to open the global chat assistant. This intelligent agent has context of your entire workspace and can help with a wide range of tasks.
