Team Management

Scale your team securely. Manage members, control access with granular permissions, and maintain a well-organized workspace.

Managing Members

Navigate to SettingsTeam to view and manage your team roster.

Inviting Members

Add new team members to collaborate on projects, tasks, and campaigns:

  1. Click Invite Member on the Team page
  2. Enter the person's email address
  3. Select their role (Owner, Admin, or Member)
  4. Click Send Invitation
  5. They'll receive an email with a verification link to join
Note:
Invitations expire after 7 days for security. You can resend expired invitations from the Team page.

Viewing Members

The Team page shows all current members with:

  • Name and email address
  • Assigned role
  • Join date
  • Last active timestamp

Removing Members

Admins and Owners can remove members from the team:

  • Click the menu icon next to any member
  • Select "Remove from Team"
  • Confirm the action
Warning
Removed users instantly lose access to all projects, tasks, emails, and data associated with the team. This action cannot be undone.

Roles & Permissions

Surgio uses a role-based access control system to ensure team members have the right level of access.

OWNER

Full control over the entire workspace. There can only be one owner per team.

Permissions:
  • • All Admin permissions
  • • Manage billing and subscription
  • • Delete the team
  • • Transfer ownership
ADMIN

Can manage team settings, members, and sensitive configurations.

Permissions:
  • • All Member permissions
  • • Invite and remove members
  • • Change team settings
  • • Manage API keys
  • • Configure integrations
MEMBER

Standard access to create and manage work within the team.

Permissions:
  • • Create and edit tasks
  • • Create and manage projects
  • • Send emails
  • • View analytics
  • • Participate in meetings
  • • Use AI features

Changing Roles

Admins and Owners can change a member's role:

  1. Go to the Team page
  2. Click the menu icon next to the member
  3. Select "Change Role"
  4. Choose the new role and confirm

People Page

The People page provides a directory of all team members with quick access to their profiles and activity.

Features

  • View all team members in one place
  • See each member's role and status
  • Click any member to view their profile
  • Filter by role or search by name
  • Quick actions: message, assign tasks, view activity
