How Sync Works
Meeting Management
Turn meetings into action. Create meeting agendas, take collaborative notes, and automatically extract tasks using AI.
Creating Meetings
There are two ways to create meetings in Surgio:
Open any task and click "Add Meet" to schedule a meeting about that specific issue.
- • Automatically creates Google Meet link
- • Syncs to Google Calendar
- • Links meeting notes to the issue
Go to the Meetings page and click "New Meeting" to create a standalone meeting.
- • Set title, date, and time
- • Invite team members
- • Add agenda items
Meeting Notes
All team members can access and edit meeting notes in real-time. Notes are saved automatically as you type.
AI Action Extraction
After a meeting, click "Extract Actions" to have Surgio AI analyze your notes and automatically create tasks.
- •Identify action items and decisions from the notes
- •Create tasks with appropriate titles and descriptions
- •Assign tasks based on @mentions in the notes
- •Link all created tasks back to the meeting
Accessing Meetings
The Meetings page shows all upcoming and past meetings for your team:
- •Filter by date range or search by title
- •See meeting status: Upcoming, Ongoing, or Past
- •Click any meeting to view notes and join the Google Meet link
- •View all tasks extracted from each meeting
Reminders
Never miss a deadline. Set custom reminders on tasks and meetings to get notified exactly when you need to be.
Setting Reminders
You can set reminders when creating or editing tasks and meetings:
Reminder Notifications
When a reminder triggers, you'll receive:
- •In-app notification in your Inbox
- •Browser notification (if enabled)
- •Email notification (configurable in settings)
